It’s Brian, a friend of mine, who talked to me about government auctions car . I was very curious about this auction thing, I found that could be fun to actually see how auctions are conducted so I went with him.

I was completely amazed by the number of different things to be bought. He later explained me that some governement auctions car were surplus property auctions. That’s why they were selling everything ! Watches, TV sets, tires, printers, clothing, even properties and… !

When I saw this Mercedes S500 in the auction, I immediately thought of “my Porshe”. Why not wouldn’t I be able to find it? And after all, it seemed pretty easy to buy at auction. The more incredible is that there are auctions everyday in different parts of the country.

In most cases anyone can attend and participate. And after what I saw I understood it was possible to find good deals. However, most people don’t know they exist, I was one of them until Brian told me.

I got so excited that I wanted to know ervything, I wanted to know the dates, the places, I wanted to be able to make searches on the net, so I decided to be a member of the Gov Auctions .

I actually did find a lot of Porshe on sale, I just waiting to save 4 490$ to buy my Porshe boxster of my dreams.

I paid less than 40 bucks for the membership and now I can go to any auction I want. After all, anybody can buy anything at government auctions because it’s really easy. If you want to buy a vehicule you’ll have to give your driver license and you’ll get a bidder number which will be a kind of identification for the entire day’s auction sale.

At the auction, you’ll see all the cars lined up. There’s a starting price for each vehicule, and if you’re interested, simply rise your hand ! Then you know how it is working: if you’re the higest bidder, you’ll get the car !

Pretty easy. But I must say I was lucky to have Brian on my side. He gave me some good pieces of advice. There are some things you’lle need to know to become a good auction buyer. You’ll also need a little practice and some self-training.

I read the guide and it saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Do the same, be cautious, don’t do crazy things and you’ll see you’ll find good deals too.
